Easy to save images from web that helps save space on your phone. Been using for years and it took my storage space down to 20GB and I upload to it daily from reddit. Just use folders. You can have a profile image, encrypted chat, calls, video chat, shared folders, options on the icon, and a bunch of space for free. I would recommend to friends and family over Google Drive for the Dark Mode, customization, the look of the app, and ease of use. Stay with the times and get MEGA. This was my first time using Mega and I liked it very much. Photos sync quickly, files and folders sync quickly. I was thinking I found a Google Drive replacement, but then something happened. By accident I deleted a folder about 45GB in size. All of my files were there but the folders were not intact. Every single file was taken out of their respective folders and were sitting right next to their parent folders.
Over files and folders all removed from their main folders and all mixed up in the rubbish folder. Google drive never did this to me. I am so mad. Therefore, I made my decision to no longer stay with Mega. This experience turned me away from these guys completely. Not investing in these guys anymore. Some problems i've run into is sometimes the app will go idle while still transferring, though reopening the app resumes it, sometimes the notification will freeze and just stay there until you reset your phone, and trying to browse while transferring is a laggy crashing nightmare. Despite the issues though, i highly recommend it if you need free cloud storage but really don't want to put it in Google's grubby hands more than you already have to. It's and powerful program that can run in the background without using all of your resources. And they're pretty good folks with the free account options.
